Endorsing candidates is a powerful way of empowering the Illinois Muslim Community. ILMAN carefully reviews and vets the candidates and endorses candidates which represent the community’s values and interests ideally. Endorsing candidates doesn’t instill a sense of representation and influence but also encourages active participation in campaigns, voting, and volunteer efforts. These endorsements are ILMAN’s effort to strengthen the community’s civic engagement and their impact on Illinoi’s political landscape.
